Less than a month after its widely successful collaboration with Versace, H&M has announced that it’s next designer team up is with Marni. The Italian label founded and designed by Consuelo Castiglioni is popular among cool fashion girls who like clothes that pop and have that touch of quirk—luxe boho, offbeat and a nod to arts and crafts. True to Marni’s colorful aesthetic and collage-like use of prints, Marni for H&M is reported to have the same color blocking and print-on-print vibe. There will be a women’s and men’s collection plus accessories like those chunky necklaces with a homespun feel and the trademark conical hats. Judging from the early images, the looks with their relaxed silhouettes and the use of the signature Marni polka-dot print are sure to draw huge crowds.

David Beckham Bodywear Line For H&M
David Beckham will together with H&M make his Bodywear range for men available to millions of fans globally through a long-term partnership.
The long-term alliance will allow David Beckham to produce and exclusively sell his eagerly awaited new DAVID BECKHAM bodywear line in around1800 H&M stores in around 40 countries worldwide. It marks the beginning of a significant relationship between H&M and David Beckham, with new Bodywear products being launched seasonally. The initial range will be launched to coincide with Valentine’s Day 2012 from February 2nd.
“Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced,” says David Beckham. “The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward, I’m excited and looking forward to showcasing the range to H&M customers from February.”

Versace For H&M
| Donatella Versace |
VERSACE will design for H&M this year, becoming the latest high fashion label to work with the Swedish high street brand.
"I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching its wide audience," Donatella Versace said this morning. "The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere."
The announcement marks a turnaround for Versace, who in 2008 claimed that a high street diffusion line simply wasn't the Versace way. "I respect everyone who does it. But the reason I didn't do it is because I work very hard to put the Versace line in the luxury section. I think to put the Versace line in H&M would confuse the brand," she told New York Magazine. However, rather than 'diffusion', this line is being sold as an 'Iconic Collection' for which Donatella will raid the archives of the Italian fashion house that was founded by her brother Gianni in 1978.
