Our generation probably knew of Linda McCartney as a loving wife and mother, but probably not so much about her earlier life as a Rock n’ Roll photographer. In memory of her, Stella McCartney Hong Kong Boutique, as the exclusive sales point in Greater China, will be launching “Linda McCartney: Life in Photographs” on 27 May 2011.

The photo album will come in three editions, containing fresh and candid shots of the music scenes in London during the sixties. Through this book, we get a special glimpse into the lives of influential musicians during her times, including The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and of course, The Beatles.
The photos were selected from over 200,000 images, with the albums produced in close collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney and their children. Her shots, ranging from spontaneous family snapshots to studio sessions with A-List stars, give us an idea of life as it was as a huge celebrity back then.
