Swing it Like Tiger - City Links Golf Lounge

First published in Elysiants on 7 December 2011.

I had a great party at City Links Golf Lounge last week, so I totally recommend it if you are looking for a place to host an intimate get together. We got there pretty promptly on a weekday evening, since it is just conveniently across LKF Hotel and right above Dragon-I, Privé, Solas and Wagyu. There definitely aren't any difficulties in explaining where the lounge is (Read: What do you mean you don't know where Privé is?!?!).

There are 4 golf simulators in the house, 3 of them standing side by side like a driving range, while 1 of them was a standalone in the private lounge. We booked their lounge exclusively for our party, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. A few of us commented that with their huge projector screen, this place would be ideal for watching the World Cup. They also have a fully equipped lounge bar which offered a variety of snacks and drinks, and that was where most of us headed towards as soon as we got there, since a majority of us came directly from work and was totally starving.

The last time I was anywhere near a golf simulator was at Altitude in Singapore, so I wasn't sure what to expect. We have a group simulator in our private lounge area, so Kim Inglis, their Director of Golf, gave us a few pointers with the practice mode first, then we set up a closest to the pin competition, which measured how close we each got to the pin in 3 strokes. They provided all the TaylorMade golf clubs and balls, so it was pretty hassle free. All we had to do was just get there and everything was ready just like that. We had a blast, and I am sure you would too! Contact Celia, their Marketing and Events Manager, and book a fantastic night out now!
