Bring in the Cellists - Hong Kong Cello Festival 2011

Any aspiring cellist around? The Hong Kong Cello Festival 2011 is going to take place from 17th to 26th June 2011, so if you are a fan of the strings, it is an event not to be missed. They are hosting a series of concerts at the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, featuring the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra as well as renowned musicians such as cellist Ka Lap Wong, violist Sylvia Chow, and guitarist Stephen Chau, so remember to get your tickets soon.



Masters strings workshop will also be available for those of you who wish to sharpen your skills with the European strings maestros Giorgio Grisales, Stefano Trabucchi and Fabrizio di Pietrantonio. Not a fan of cello? The festival has also invited Spanish guitarist Neris Gonzalez and Japanese flutist Kuniaki Nomata to conduct a workshop on their expertise as well.
