The girls and I were excited to be invited to the opening cocktail for S.Nine's first pop-up shop last Friday, and emails were flying all over that afternoon on the pieces that we have been eyeing upon.
Jasmine and I arrived promptly to find the shop filled with fellow shoppers eagerly trying pieces out. As the invitation promised, the shop does look like a NYC loft, and it was amusing to see the shop located among traditional Chinese stores. Talk about East meets West.
Soon after, Jessie, Claudia, Celina, and Matthew arrived, and we started digging out pieces we found suitable for each other while catching up. We even managed to catch a quick chat with Susanna, the designer behind S.Nine, who was busy running around throughout the evening.
Then the party moved on over to Elgi九's for some unique cocktails and cake pops. As the night progressed, the party grew bigger and bigger. I even bumped into my dragon boating buddy, Michelle, which was a rather pleasant surprise.
